How Often Should Brakes Be Checked?

At the absolute minimum, you should have your brakes checked once a year to ensure they are responsive. This can help you avoid costly replacements in the future. It is recommended that you get your brakes replaced every 10,000 to 20,000 miles, depending on the quality of the brakes.  Your rotors should be replaced every 50,000 to 70,000 miles.
